Barr Castle, Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire. Built by the Glen family in the 15C, modified by the Hamiltons in the 16C and abandoned in the 18C. It rose to four storeys beneath the parapet, with a garret above, of coursed rubble with gunloops and arrow slits.
